I just moved in, but so far, my experience is been great. The apartment itself is gorgeous: lots of sunlight and space; it was very clean when we moved in; the apartment is beautiful, especially if you appreciate art decor style; painting was flawless. The staff was GREAT: they are extremely kind, supportive, knowledgeable, honest, and thus were decisive in our choice, which helped us feel at home instantly.

Quiet building in central neighborhood in St. Louis. Close to many amenities and quite central to what the metro has to offer. For such quality and neighborhood, the price is unbeatable. The older architecture also provides character.

I lived in the Hawthorne for 20 years. The place is amazing--I have incredible memories of my time there. I still occasionally attend the Christmas parties. There are several people that have been living there for over 30 years.

The Hawthrone is a charming building in the Central West End. Many young professionals live in the building, and it is kept in wonderful condition despite its age. Though lacking in modern amenities, the building is affordable and has more character than the other building nearby.
